Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course is primarily designed for future EMS personnel, but is appropriate for anyone who may respond to emergencies, including fire/rescue personnel, nurses, coaches or athletic trainers, safety professionals, etc.

Students must meet physical capabilities and criminal background clearances as outlined by the PA DOH, and the course includes attendance, academic and skill performance standards, and a clinical experience. Participants who successfully complete this program are eligible to take National Registry of EMTs certification exams for Pennsylvania and the national certification as an EMT.
